Carroll’s back at West Ham

|

Andy Carroll has returned to West Ham but with no prospect of a new contract being handed to him.

As reported by CandH several weeks ago the Hammers will allow the former striker to train at Rush Green as he attempts to get his career back on track.

Injured for the most part of last season, Carroll is desperate to find a new club but there is no chance of that happening until he is 100 per cent fit.

As an out of contract player he should have little problem finding a club but it could take him a while to get back to full fitness.

ClaretandHugh was told back in May that  it was likely he would need to find training facilities and that the club would be ready to allow him use  Rush Green.

However, despite a current striker crisis with the Hammers hunting high and low for a new target man we were told there is no chance of the Geordie being offered a new deal.

And it is believed he is now keen to finish his career in the United States where he regularly holidays and feels he can remain out of a constant media spotlight.
