Changed man Moyes hails the squad

David Moyes is a different character after the problems of last summer in the Premier League.

It’s a cliche of near epic proportions  but this season has shown it truly is a results game with those of us calling for the manager’s head having to eat loads of humble pie.

It has been as exciting as it has been surprising with the squad playing a counter attacking game but unlike last season scoring some fine goals from open play often created through Paqueta and completed by Bowen.

Tomorrow may see the addition of Kudus – a signing declared everywhere as immense and it’s that scenario which as much as anything else is birthing great hope for some sort if result against the Man City juggernaut.

And Moyes has made it clear saying that having had three out of four away games in our first four games, for us to have done three away, and got the results we have, is excellent.

He added: The performances, in some ways, have been really good and we’ve showed resilience in some of those games.

For me, the big thing is we’ve scored goals and we look like we’re going to score goals. If that continues then we give ourselves a great chance of continuing to pick up points.”
