Crazy striker speculation goes on and on

|

Nikica-Jelavic--417960Let’s get something straight!

The only well known name in the frame for a West Ham striker gig is Emmanuel Adebayor and as we have reported this morning and that could crumble on account of Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s”full wage only” demands.

So far this morning I have read that we are chasing Roma striker  Juan Iturbe and that we have also moved for  Roma forward Adem Ljajic who wasn’t interested.

The name  of Hull City forward Nikica Jelavic has also been put forward and no doubt by he end of the day two or three more will appear.

Quite how we are supposedly negotiating on three or four different fronts with just Karren Brady and David Sullivan doing the talking is a little beyond me.

And given that any Adebayor development looks likely to take a big breakthrough there’s a lot of hot air around.

Galatasaray striker hitman has now apparently said ‘no’ so if anything is gonna happen on the striker front it has to happen very soon but our injury problems are set to ease after today so time to look on the bright side.

I’m the etrna optimist and am going for a draw at Anfield today – if that turns out to be the case, watch everybody’s mood change.

At £3 million and him wanting Premier football weather we want him the 2 tight wads will break out there piggy banks and buy probably sell Jarvis or part exchange Alfitano,
But this is a goer weather we want him or not,
Still no winger are there any out of contract ?

Shame about the Serb, wonder if that was a political decision, if we did sign Jelavic he is s left footed footballer and could definitely do a job for us. As for the midfielder / winger it all looks quiet on that front, I guess a lot will depend on the result against the mickey mousers as to who and what we sign ?

This is bad or embarrassing that we can’t get a striker. We’ve bought the player with most assist, more than Messi and he’s got hardly anyone to set up..! Why is it.? We’ve shipped out more players than we’ve brought in, not a good sign..

When I’ve mentioned Jelavic I was joking – it’s not so funny now!

Excellent lets hope it stays that way….

Adebayor and Jelaviç, none of these are the exciting signings we were promised. They are 3rd rate has beens. Austin and Hernandez were mentioned a couple of weeks back and now look at what we’ve been reduced to..
Has anyone got Carlton Coles phone number.??

As a semi respectable old man i dont swear very often, however may i say this pathetic attempt to sign rubbish is f%cking bollox!.As for not chasing all these different players,of course you can be after many options at the same time, what you on about Hugh, christ you are making yourself sound dopey.

I want to know what happened with the Moussa Sow rumours? We apparently were linked but that’s all I ever read. For £9m he was a f*cking bargain. jelavic is embarrassing, Adebayour is embarrassing, the Turk said no because we were trying to cheap skate it off. It’s all just a normal day in the office at West Ham. Hopefully they pull something out the bag if not a striker then at least a midfield player

  • MyOldMan says:

Last I hear re: Sow, was that he was heading to the middle east for a bumper pay day for something like 16m euros plus 1m in his pocket.

  • bubs says:

Our biggest mistakes were at the beginning we missed out on 3 freebies because of wage demands then it went down hill,
Borini will come back on the Radar possible Fletcher of Sunderland ( I don’t want them )
We should get 2 good wingers in let Jarvis and JOB go but they can go to the championship so no rush, sit down with Song and work out a deal for this season pay as you play £100 k a week then if everyone is happy do a deal for £85 k for 2 years,

  • Beanie says:

There was a really good winger that was free, Tommy Oar but he just signed for Ipswich. Watch him do well there, him & Cressie would’ve linked up nicely
