Cresswell Norwich update

|

Cressy could return

Aaron Cresswell could be ready to make his return to the squad for the game against Norwich City at the London Stadium on Wednesday evening.

We understand he has recovered from his back injury and barring any late setbacks looks set to be involved in a game which can lift the Hammers onto 37 points and into fourth place above Arsenal.

Whether the manager gives him a place in the starting line-up should he re-join the squad remains to be seen but should he not then it leaves a question mark over both full back positions.

Vladi Coufal is set to miss the game with covidĀ  so Moysie can either stick with Ryan Fredericks at right back or play Ben Johnson in his natural role with Masuaku back in the team on the other side!.

The Canaries arrive at the London Stadium on the back of five straight Premier League defeatsĀ  conceding 11 goals in the process.

We need Cressie back ASAP. No-one crosses as well as him- Masuaku can also send over wicked crosses but he seems to have lost that ability. We’re missing him (Aaron) at set pieces too. Ideally Coufal as RB and Fredericks ahead of him- he’s got pace.
