The first team squad and backroom staff stayed in Bad Waltersdorf, a municipality in the district of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld in Styria saying at the Avita Resort hotel.
The location has been used by the Club in the past, while Austria has been the pre-season destination of choice for many Premier League clubs in recent years because of the benefit of training at altitude.
Last July the Hammers started their pre-season by playing Czech First League side FC Slovacko in Rohrbach then Russian side Rubin Kazan in Krottendorf.
