Diame deal on the cards?

|

DiameI hear Mo Diame is set to become a target for one of two clubs in the summer and that the Hammers may be ready to listen to offers.

However, there may need to be some current contract re-negotiation given that a £3.5 million trigger is included plus the clause that a buying club pay him £50k a week.

Some Hammers insiders don’t believe the midfielder has played to his full potential this season and of course he has missed a few games through what is seen as loss of form

Thus, with a year left on his deal this summer the £3.5 million may look about right to a buying club although the wages would need to be renegotiated downwards.

There’s a desire to freshen up and strengthen the squad across the board and a Diame departure would really not come as a big surprise.
