Double-edged sword facing Irons on Wednesday

|

It’s not the greatest thought in the world but at the moment we need to face stark realities.

Wednesday night is just about as crucial as it gets for quite apart from the fact that we face a massive task at Arsenal, Hull are also in action on their own manor – a double edged sword if ever there was one.

And after beating us to go eight games undefeated at the KCOM Stadium, they go into action against the team one place below them -Middlesbrough – and will fancy themselves big time for a three pointer.

However, these games between teams locked into a dogfight at the bottom have a habit of rarely going to form and we will all have one eye on the events at the KCOM whilst hoping we can produce a very West Ham type moment with a shock victory at the Emirates.

After that we have two fixtures we will seriously need to win – Swansea at home and Sunderland away whilst Hull face Manchester City at the Etihad and Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

So many people are talking as if this problem just appeared in the last two weeks. It has been staring us in the face since September. Denial from top to bottom in the club, and among a lot of supporters. Still, the sun is ahining. It is only a game. Happy days. Where are those pills?

We are in that point of the season where the formbook is an irrelevance, teams at the bottom are fighting for their lives and teams at the top for the champions league places so anything is possible, who knows we may even win a few games if the players realise they are in a relegation fight.

I’ll take those 4 points Rads. Yeah I gave the blogs a swerve for the weekend too. It’s funny I don’t to read them to know they’re doom and gloom!

I think it is the best way to go as it happens. Not because anyone has got their head in the sand at all.We all know we are on a bad run but some of the depressing ******* on our sites are enough to have you charging off Beachy Head lmao
I bet some of them go through the obituaries in their local rag on a monday so they can plan what theyre doing and where theyre going for the week

That’s hilarious! I’ve got a customer who bought a tablet just to read the orbituries on and save on the local rag! I came out of their house feeling very depressed! Funeral attendance here in Swansea is a national pastime – they go even if they didn’t know the person! Lol #coyi
