Gold put down for former Hammers ‘bad boy’

|

amalfitDavid Gold has made his opinion clear on a former a Hammer who left the club under a big cloud.

Told by a follower that bad boy Morgan Amalfitano was a “great player” Gold had no issues with making his feelings pretty clear.

The French midfielder fell out with  Slaven Bilic early on and the club were forced to pay him off after the manager flatly refused to have him anywhere near the first team sending him instead to  train with the Development side.

Gold’s follower, however, clearly felt Slav had got it wrong and asked the co chairman: “Should of (have!) kept hold of Amalfitano, he’s a great player.”

Gold however was desperately underwhelmed by the suggestion and responded with a typically cryptic quip to make his feelings known.

He tweeted: “Amalfitano was an OK squad player but I can’t believe anyone but his agent would call him a ‘great’ player.” dg

Still wait to hear Mr Gold say the truth about Carroll, and not keep trying to sell him as a Super Sub, truth is they will not admit that Sam conned them, and his captain Nolan into signing him, and even more stupid agreed to pay him the salary we do, no one else even then wanted Carroll.

My sentiments also jaybs.I bet DG stays awake at nights wondering how to remedy the Carroll situation. He has to be a concern in spite of all the management statements to the contrary. Allardyce conned them especially for the last year of his contract as manager. The owners seem to be honest or scrupulous men when it comes to honoring contracts which is a worry when it comes to Carroll.

The Frenchman was **** ! I think gold was being kind calling him a good squad player ,
Said it from day one . A desperation buy ? Nothing else . Cheap **** really .

Both players mentioned are down to one person Hippo,
He wanted Alfitano because of lack of skilled players,God knows what he would make of Payet,Lanzini,Moses, ect,
Carroll was so his boy had his friend with him,
DG did not want Carroll but if he is going to get any money back and to keep face he won’t tell the truth,
