Haller all set for Bundesliga return

|

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

West Ham will sell Sebastian  Haller next summer with the striker set for a return to Germany.

ClaretandHugh has learned that, despite his lack of form. there has been interest from three or four Bundedsliga outfits over the last few weeks.

The 26 year old, however, despite three offers of loan moves back to Germany,  is disinterested in making a return until the summer when the Hammers are set to get a £25 million fee – thus losing around £12 million on what they paid for him from Eintracht Frankfurt.

There remains  widespread admiration for Haller in Germany where there is an acceptance that the arrival of David Moyes as manager will not have suited his game.

Our sources claim  the interest in the player is very real but that a January loan move would be of no interest to either Haller or West Ham and that a permanent deal in the summer is very much on the cards given the conversations already held between the Hammers and the German outfits.

Fantastic News if true. So far It has ended up being a painful experience for both parties I’d say, but he wasn’t exactly ripping up trees under Pellegrini.
Wrap him up in cotton wool till then I say!

It’s become clear – he’s just not suited to the Premiership. Thanks for bringing us interesting news throughout the year – even on Christmas Day! Merry Christmas to all at C&H and all Hammers everywhere.

I doubt any german club will pay 25 million in this current covid stricken market for Haller. I think we will be lucky to get 15-20 million.

Love this site and your info! Greetings from North Carolina, United States! Merry Christmas to everyone across the pond. We actually have a white Christmas here with 10 inches of snow! Too bad Haller did not work out. I was really high on him after his First couple of matches in Claret and Blue, but it just hasn’t panned out…wonderful Christmas present to hear this! COYI ⚒
