Hammer Declan Rice is one of the main stars of Sports Direct’s £6m 2021 Christmas campaign.
The advert begins with England and West Ham star Declan Rice sitting at a table doing a jigsaw puzzle and proclaiming he is “busy.”
Other stars, including world heptathlon champion, Katarina Johnson-Thompson and boxer Natasha Jonas, saying the same thing before it is revealed to be snowing outside.
From there, a whole host of sports personalities slip on their winter gear, which includes pieces from the new Sports Direct collection, before stepping outside to take part in a massive snowball fight.
Manchester City’s Jack Grealish is immediately hit by his England teammate Jordan Pickford, who grins eagerly as he yells “got ya.”
Similarly, England rugby player Maro Itoje fires a snowball at Bath winger, Anthony Watson, with the Bath winger urging Itoje to “watch it.”
Then Emma Raducanu appears. The 18-year-old is shown in tennis attire, hiding behind a car, and shouts “new balls please.”
The US Open champion then proceeds to serve a snowball with her racquet straight into the back of Grealish, who appears less than impressed.
Soon, tons of British sports stars join the action, including Chelsea duo, Mason Mount and Fran Kirby, golfer Andrew Johnston and boxer Conor Benn.
