Liverpool keeper Alisson Becker has clearly not got over his howler after the West Ham victory and has taken to Instagram to vent his sour grapes.
The Brazilian bad loser posted a picture from his international fixture against Colombia, alongside a not so cryptic message clearly aimed at West Ham.
The expensive keeper said: ‘When you can use your hands, the job it’s not so hard‘.
This refers to the first goal against West Ham on the 7th of November at the London Stadium as Angelo Ogbonna was wrongly accused of blocking the ‘keepers hands as they both challenged for a corner. After a VAR check, it was quite rightly decided that the Hammers’ defender did not foul Brazil’s No.1 who was adjudged to have scored an own-goal but, following his Instagram message, it’s fair to assume he still doesn’t agree with that decision.
Time to move on Allison, you lost, it happens! Don’t be a bad loser like your manager, accept you lost to a better team on the day.
We could equally say when our players can’t use their arms to jump it’s not so easy lol also the art of winning is to push the edges of the law, Mo Salah and his constant diving in the box, the same could be levelled at a number of Liverpool players with their tactical fouling to stop teams counter attacking them. We have had plenty of bad luck against the big teams in the past if we have a bit of good luck every now and again thats balance COYI !!!
Has he not watched a replay and seen that Ogbonna is 2 yards in front with his back to him when he jumps for the ball. He’s just making himself look an entitled, bitter bad loser.
It amuses me that the ‘Big 6’ get more of the rub of the green with the officials. There was more than enough spouted about Cresswell’s tackle on Henderson, which even at normal speed looked like his foot bounced off the ball, but I don’t see much being mentioned of the expert way that Salah drew the Foul that lead to the first Liverpool goal, some might say he dived, but the ref called it, so we move on.
He messed up and can’t admit it to himself, Antonio stood his ground and he was not strong enough. What does he want, nobody near the GK so that he can make awe inspiring catches every time, this ranks alongside Platini trying to ban tackling so that ‘flair’ players can play their game.
I can’t understand how the keeper can complain, does he expect to have no players around him. Just shows he was not commanding his area. I think back to Phil Parkes if there was anyone in his way they got flattened no matter who they were.
