Hammer linked with surprise exit

|

West Ham ace Manuel Lanzini has been linked with a surprise exit from the club this summer.

Fanatik reports that there is interest from Turkish club Besiktas, who want to sign the No.10 to strengthen their squad.

Lanzini made 45 appearances in all competitions last season and remains a key member of David Moyes’ squad as the new season nears.

The Hammers are aiming to bring in reinforcements to their forward line and could do a deal for a new attacking midfielder this summer, but we cannot foresee a timeline in which the Argentina international is allowed to leave this summer.

Besiktas are said to be eyeing up a potentially discounted deal for Lanzini because he only has a year left to run on his current contract, but the Irons hold an option to extend that by another two years.

The Irons aren’t likely to cave into any kind of discounted demands across the next few weeks.
