Soucek question mark over Tuesday friendlies

|

By Hughie Southon

West Ham’s international players  are back in training but there is no certainty they will be involved in either pre-season match on Tuesday evening.

The Hammers are sending out two squads – one to Ipswich and the other to Boreham Wood – following their 2-0 victory over Servette in Switzerland on Friday.

Most interest will focus around Tomas Soucek following the stories concerning his likely departure although there is no certainty either he, Vladi Coufal or Declan will make it into either team.

At this stage it would be wrong to read too much into Soucek’s situation given that he will only have been training for a few days.

Its also uncertain whether we will get our first look at mew boy Flynn Downes who became our third signing of the season on Friday.

Moyes is sure to play several youngsters with Harrison Ashby and Conor Coventry the two who impressed most in the opening game last week.
