West Ham are closing in on the signing of Lucas Paqueta from Lyon for a fee of £52m all in.
The Irons have agreed to pay £37m for the Brazil international along with £15m worth of add-ons. 
That will take the overall package to £52m, and a top source at the club has confirmed that the deal is inching closer and the Irons are ‘90% there’.
David Moyes confirmed after the 1-0 win over Aston Villa that Paqueta has undergone his medical with the club and the formalities are being ironed out.
Paqueta has been a key target for the club and they have been working on a deal since last week.
A breakthrough was reached over the weekend, as figures were worked out, and the Hammers have now entered the final stages of negotiations.
Barring any late, unforeseen hitches, Paqueta is going to be a West Ham player before the end of the week.

For it only to be 90% done says to me something’s not quite right.

West Ham Zone are claiming that Paqueta has now signed for US. Which if true is great news. I must confess I was fearing the worse and it does appear another Premier League side did attempt to hijack the deal. I still want believe it until the Official site announces it. But hopefully the deal is over the line. Mind you getting any information was next to impossible. Hugh, can you give us the latest info. We look to you for the latest updates.
