Hammers admit defeat on top boss hope!

|

MoyesWest Ham have admitted defeat of landing David Moyes as the next Hammers manager.

Speculation surrounding the former Everton and Manchester United boss has continued for weeks despite him making it pretty clear he intends to remain in Spain.

Fresh speculation that he could move on after a reported “disagreement” on player signing policy raised the spectre of him possibly accepting the Irons job.

But a top level source inside the Boleyn this morning revealed: “He is 100 per cent staying in Spain and is no longer on our list of options.

“Something pretty dramatic would have to take place for that to change – we are continuing to sound out our various candidates.”

Considering our other targets, I can’t say I’m all that disappointed.

  • bubs says:

I told you befo re BFS left he was always going to stay in Spain, yes we want a top manager but we have got to be realistic,Rafa is going to Real,Klopps not coming to us,
Biesla and Bilic want the job one speaks English one does not, both are better than what we had,Emery will stay if the rumours are right in Spain with Saville, that leaves DeBoer,
And the mystery man we know nothing about,
If we leave it to long Biesla will sign a new contract Bilic will go to Napoli and DeBoer will turn us down,

  • whambam says:

I think I know who the mystery man is, Karanka, I reckon we was waiting to see if Boro went up

  • essexclarets says:

he was hard done by at man u, but that doesn’t make me want him over here.

  • DGHammer34 says:

Thank God for that, just a younger version of Fatty.

Bilic or De boer will do me

  • DGHammer34 says:

Whats this mystery man all about then?

  • bubs says:

DGH 34 we have been told but a good sorce on Hugh pay roll that there is a secret person
Who speaks English but has never worked in the premier, but it’s all secret squirrel because we don’t want anyone to find out,
You now get to guess with the rest of us,

  • Boys of '66 says:

Secret Squirrel is probably nobody,an invisable squirrel 😀

  • Quickdraw de Boer says:

Great news for all the reasons stated on numerous occasions,a bit worried he was so high up the list in the first place.
As for the mystery man it’s Aiden O’Brien he’s a top trainer, good for hoofing it,likes a big stallion up front and has always worked in stable conditions.

  • IronsEssex says:

Thank the heavens above, if we had taken him off everyone hands maybe but after his shambles at manure he can stay in Spain and get heat stroke
