West Ham have brushed off speculation that Under 23s skipper Marcus Browne could be on his way from the club to Europe.
Browne has succeeded Declan Rice in the role to lead the youngsters dujring a season which has seen them rise into the top six of Premier 2 League 1.
And his four goals against Everton in the last game has put him at the centre of attention as David Moyes keenly attempts to blood some academy youngster.
No sooner had Browne ,20, hit the headlines than rumours arose that FC Leipzieg were keen having watched him during the course of the season.
But a Hammers source told ClaretandHugh there is no chance of one of our hottest prospects moving on with preliminary talks on a new contract already planned.
He said: “He has two years left on his deal and we have an option for another year. There’s no desperate hurry to talk but we will and see where we are”
