Hammers confirm new striker target

|
West Ham have this morning confrmed to ClaretandHugh that they are moving in on Argentine striker Jonathon Calleri after the news was broken by Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio.

Our top source at the club declared: ” We are hopeful but his club are still in Copa Lib and he can’t go anywhere until they are out of that. We are working hard on it and you can never be sure what  might happen but we are hopeful. He’s a decent player

Calleri hit 16 goals in 41 games for Boca Juniors to make a real name for himself, before joining Uruguayan team Deportivo Maldonado.
However, our source denied stories that an investor group owned his contract declaring: ” No that’s not the case. t would be a straightforard club to club deal.”Since Boca Juniors Calleri scored another 12 goals in 24 games  and the Hammers are now very much on the case for his signature.
