Hammers flop looks set for full pre-season

|

West Ham boss David Moyes’ hopes that Felipe Anderson could be on his way this summer  look dead in the water.

The Hammers have received no bids or interest from Lazio who have been regularly linked with the Brazilian over the last few weeks.

And as things stand -unless a loan club can be found for the player – there seems no hope that he will be anywhere other than the London Stadium this summer.

Instead the manager will be hoping the midfielder comes back with a new attitude ahead of his final season at the club and will give him a full pre-season.

At his best Anderson would certainly be in the manager’s mind from game to game but his best has not been seen since the beginning of his time at the club.

Winston Reid also remains on the wage bill until 2023 having signed a six year deal in 2017 with the Hammers hoping a club may move in for the 32 year old.

    Dead in the water?
There are about 7 weeks until the transfer window shuts. We all know that most transfers are done in the last couple of weeks.
I’m sure he will be on his way at some point before the season starts.
