Hammers in for Championship ace

|

West Ham want to sign Middlesbrough star Isaiah Jones in the January transfer window, according to a new report.

Football League World carries a report claiming that the Hammers are eyeing up a move for the ace, who is currently playing on the Riverside.

Jones is 23 and has been with Boro since 2021, impressing during his time with the club.

He can play on both flanks but is primarily operating as a right winger at Middlesbrough this season.

He has made 65 appearances for the club in total and has scored three goals, while registering 12 assists.

Middlesbrough are said to be keen to keep Jones at the club in the January transfer window but boss David Moyes is considering a swoop to bring him into the club at the turn of the year.

Boro are currently 19th in the Championship table, and are in real danger of falling into a relegation battle if their results continue to slide.
