Hammers injury/covid update on four first teamers

|

The General looks likelyto miss the game

The Hammers could have a full squad available for the match against Burnley on Saturday with the exception of Fabian Balbuena.

Lukas Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks – assuming he is fully recovered from covid, and  Issa Diop are all considered likely to be available as the Hammers look for a win and keeping a three match run of clean sheets in place.

Fabianski suffered a slight knock and is believed to be ready to play, Balbuena has been self isolating but is understood to be on his way back to the training ground this week but probably not in time to regain a place at the back.

Diop – who has suffered an unspecified leg problem – is t4hought likely for action should he be selected.

Craig Dawson has been outstanding at central defence anyway and it would be a surprise were the manager to drop him in favour of The General or the young Frenchman anyway.

Meanwhile, it’s likely a much fitter Michail Antonio will lead the attack with Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek restored to the starting line-up along with Pablo Fornals restored to the starting line up.
