Hammers keeper trots off to Hornets

|

howesWatford have added former Hammers goalkeeping hope Sam Howes to their Development Squad.

The 20 year old stopper was pushed into the shadows at the Hammers by outstanding young prospect Nathan Trott who has seen as one of the new big things at the Irons.

Trott has now firmly established himself as the club’s U23s No1 keeper with a string of outstanding saves and immaculate footwork and distribution.

He pledged his allegiance to England and earned a call-up to the U19s for European qualifiers against Norway, Spain and Belarus in March.

As a result Howes, a very decent keeper himself, represented England at youth level but will now take his chance with the Hornets.

This is what is so wrong wrong with West Ham

This young man was stifled by th contract of another, he worked hard. He was part of the England set up and was ready to burst on the scene, we let him go. I have been around young football for years and this an has the ability to go to the top , he worked hard whenever I saw him and just last month I watched In grow into that young man when he played for Hampton

He will go far and we will regret it, I promise ,

Sam Howes will play at the top , he is still young
