Hammers refuse to confirm ‘target’ reports

|

West Ham sources have been unable to confirm that Adama Traore is a target for David Moyes this winter.

The right sided Wolves wing back definitely interests Spurs but claims the Irons will be battling the North London club were treated with great caution when we made our own inquiries this afternoon.

The story has appeared on numerous websites today but remains unconfirmed at the club where David Moyes has already spoken of his winter market plans.

Very Low RaterHe explained in his Crystal Palace post match presser that at the moment his priority was for a defender given the problems he has with three injuries at the back.

However, until he sees the progress made by Kurt Zouma he refuses to make a hard and fast decision.

Given the need also for a left back and striker, plus his continued support of Jesse Lingard, the Traore option looks media driven.

One source told CandH: He has mentioned names without making anything firm but Traore was not among them.”

And another explained: No, Traore is not an option – he has been in very poor form this season with no assists and no goals.”

Am I the only one thinking, ‘what a signing this would be’? He is unplayable and could be used as a make shift striker much like Antonio has become. He is faster, more skillful, and stronger than Antonio, can you imagine how great he can be if coached by Moyes to play as a striker

no goals, no assists this season and can’t get a start for Wolves at the moment. No thanks.

I’d prefer Maximin to Traore- who could we offer them to sign him?
