Hammers rekindle interest in former Man Utd player

|

_99800178_morganschneiderlin_getty12West Ham has been linked once again with a late bid for Morgan Schneiderlin and Sky claim the Hammers are ready to pay £20 million for the Everton man.  The midfielder was strongly linked with West Ham at the beginning of the transfer window but with Sakho’s exit and a chance Andre Ayew could soon join the ranks of former Hammers the speculation has been reignited.

Alternative reports suggest West Ham only want to sign Schneiderlin on loan. Everton are said to be willing to part with the 28-year-old before Wednesday’s transfer deadline, a year after signing him from Manchester United in a £24m deal. But they would prefer to recoup £20m in cash, and are reluctant to do loan deals that will not carry any certainty of a return.

They feel it would be better to assess Schneiderlin over the remainder of the season before deciding whether to spend such a significant sum on the former Southampton player.

definitely a loan to buy deal, his form went through the floor this season, not sure if it is playing for Allardyce and the overly negative approach or just very low on confidence, at his best a very good player but at his worst another ponderous plodder.

Agree & on high wages too. Which is something we need to sort is our wages bc can cause issues seen it at Villa probably happen this summer.
But tbh I’d rather take Ki on 2 year deal w Ayew & £15m if going to sell Ayew to rival might has well get player in return & only 6mo left 6’2 good passer tackler CDM & can play further up. Saying Morgan is on £120k which to me get Ki & Dendockner of can Obiang out for season most likely.
& if they sell us Morgan they probably buy Dendoncker
