Hammers tipped as next top four club

|

Robbie Savage reckons the Hammers are set to follow his former club Leicester City as the next big four club.

Like many others, the former Wales and Foxes midfielder has had little good to say in our direction down the years but the times are rapidly changing.

Sav has a variety of jobs as a pundit but is best known for his work on the BBC where he has always been very outspoken.

This time, however, his comments are entirely positive in our direction as we follow in the path of the Foxes.

It’s great to see the closed shop that has existed for so long at the top of the Premier League being broken up – or at least put under some pressure.

And our next big chance to  show how far we have come will arrive when Liverpoo,l travel to the London Stadium on November 7.

In the meantime Savage commented on Three of the Best for William Hill this week “I think the manager has got a squad, he utilises that squad ever so well.

“He’s got players playing at the top of their game, just look at Declan Rice. Look at Antonio, the worry would be if he is out for a considerable amount of time.

“They believe now that they can beat any side. He has done an unbelievable job, and if any team are going to break into the top four, it could be them.”

“The unbelievable thing? They’ve not missed Jesse Lingard.”
