Hammers to face Spurs

|

West ham will face Spurs away in the Carabo Cup quarter-finals which will take place on the week commencing 20th December.

The Hammers were paired with Tottenham  LIVE on Sky Sports Soccer AM with West Ham fan Jimmy Bullard hosting.

West Ham dispatched both Manchester clubs to reach the quarter-finals.

The Irons travelled to Old Trafford in September to dispatch Manchester United 1-0 in their own backyard thanks to a Manual Lanzini early goal.

West Ham were drawn against Manchester City in the fourth round at the London Stadium.

Manchester City were unbeaten in 1,827 days in the competition before Wednesday’s result after they won the trophy four years in a row, but there is now guaranteed to be a different name on the trophy which could well be West Ham.

The Hammers have never won the League Cup coming closest in 1981 when they lost in a League cup final to Liverpool over two legs and in 1966 they faced West Brom.

West Ham have made the quarter-final eleven times and the semi-finals six times in the cup’s short history.
