Hammers to have a dry Tuesday

|

bubbles2West Ham fans hoping for a half time beer at Dean Court stadium tomorrow will be bitterly disappointed. AFC Bournemouth have published a statement saying alcohol will not be available due a ‘licensing matter’

The club’s official website announced “Due to a licensing matter AFC Bournemouth advises supporters that there will be no alcohol available in the stand concourse bars at the game against West Ham United on Tuesday 12th January.!”

“In addition, there will be no alcohol sales in the 1910 Bar. The club has worked with the Council and Dorset Police to resolve this matter and sales of alcohol will resume for our game against Norwich City on Saturday.”
Maybe someone forgot to renew the booze license or perhaps West Ham lively away day reputation has preceded them. Ironically, the Cherries’s champagne bar at Dean Court is called Bubbles!
West Ham sold out their allocation of 1,300 tickets for Tuesday’s game with coach travel to Bournemouth free of charge as part of the Premier League away fans fund.
