Happy Hammers front men set to shun moves

|

zarateWest Ham are keen to hold on to all four strikers this season and will only consider loaning any out of they are desperately unhappy.

Diafra Sakho has nailed down the No 1 spot but with Andy Carroll slowly returning to full match fitness the heat is on Mauro Zarate and Enner Valencia who is also on the comeback trail.

Zarate is also under pressure for his position from Manuel Lanzini who has made a great start to his Hammers career but is desperately keen to emerge as a front line Irons player.

After being loaned  out to QPR last season he returned to Upton Park he has returned to show real form with three goals in his eight appearances.

And although he was being linked with a move away in the summer he is believed keen to stay and fight for a place in Slaven Bilic’s set-up in a system he believes suits him far better than that employed by Sam Allardyce.

A source told ClaretandHugh exclusively: “We will look at everything in January. Some players are not happy on the bench and might ask to go although Mauro is showing a lot of appetite for the club.

“If both AC and Enner Valencia are both 100% fit we are a bit heavy in the forward/striker position but there is a saying you can never have enough forwards and Zarate gives you something different!”

Cant see him getting much game time when everyone is fit,but aint a bad back-up to have if he doesnt spit his dummy again.Maybe Slav will keep him calm 😉

Going to be difficult to keep them all happy i suspect, but who knows, only time will tell.If anyone is going to get the hump first it will be Zarate going on past form he has at other clubs.

Fair play to people who write articles for blogs/forums,i couldnt do it but isnt this one a bit pointless. All this what if…Its horsesh*t.Much like Samuels style of football was ::D

Mmmm it’s seems to be pointless, a whole blog on what might have happened if he I can not say hadn’t buggered off.. how about if Grant had stayed or sourpuss???

Well thankfully it is only hypothetical now & not a reality.Could have been ‘What if we had appointed Slaven Bilic instead of keepig Hippohead’ 😀

Sh1t site.If your names not down you aint coming in.Its like the mafia on there. If your face dont fit your screwed.

  • essexclarets says:

If he wants to play for a ‘big’ club then he will have to put up with being a squad player. All top clubs have world class players sitting on the bench every week.

  • slaven a laugh says:

bilic has always favoured one up front. At the moment it’s Sakho. But what happens when all five are fit. Sakho Carroll zarate Valencia and not forgetting jelavic. Will he play two up top or stick to the lone striker?

  • bubs says:

If we are going to play so many attacking midfielders there is no room for 2 up top,
And personally I would prefer the threat from
Payet,Moses,Valencia,Zarate,Lanzini or Antonio, then have Sakho and Carroll going for the same ball,
All the top teams play with 1 up top when they are successful,
I think Zarate will be happy if he if given the same chance as the others and the places go on merit,
Slav has shown no sign of not giving him a chance so far,
If he leaves he cost nothing and would bring in a min of £5 million not bad business
