Here we go again… it’s ‘stick together’ time

|

If Monday mornings aren’t enough to cope with on their own Ryan Fredericks has made sure, via the official site, that we have another bellyful to handle.

It really doesn’t seem to matter how much you beg, the “we must stick together” interviews keep pouring out of the London Stadium media department.

It’s their job of course to put as positive a spin on things as possible but at this time even the word possible isn’t suitable given the circumstances. We’re not mugs!

The squad – with notable exception of Snoddy –  gave us the creeps on Saturday whilst the manager has provided no explanations which help at all.

As a result you might just hope that somebody will pop up with something seriously important to say about things – perhaps the honest Issa Diop or the experienced and straightforward Zaba.

Instead we get the same line from Fredericks as Cresswell gave us post-Newcastle: “We must stick together.”

We won’t bother you with all of it but here’s the usual guff from https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/november/11-november/ryan-fredericks-were-not-doing-enough-fans-we-need-stick

“We need to stick together,” the No24 implored. (Implored?)

“We’re not giving the fans much to sing about and be happy about at the moment, but they’re a loyal bunch of fans, we know that.

“We get 60,000 turn up every week and credit to them. We’re not doing enough for them, but this is when we really need to stick together.

“This is a tough little spell but last season we did well against the better teams and we’re going to do everything we can to get three points against Spurs.”

“It’s very tight and we’re only four points off seventh, or something like that. We’re an experienced bunch of lads, so we’re not going to get too down, and we just need to buck our ideas up and get going again.”

Feeling better?

Nope!

Looking on the “bright side of life” we are only 4 points from 5th place and 12 games into the season so plenty of time to turn it round. Starting with Spurs!!

These sort of comments make me so angry.
The comments are so flippant and there’s no thought gone into it.
But they a loyal bunch of fans, we know that…………It doesn’t matter how bad we play you will still turn up.
We always turn up against the big teams……….We can’t be bothered when we play the lesser clubs.
It’s very tight and we’re only four points off seventh, or something like that………..In other words you haven’t even bothered to look at the table.
. We’re an experienced bunch of lads, so we’re not going to get too down, and we just need to buck our ideas up and get going again.”……….As long as i get my big pay cheque, who’s bothered.
    Complete bulls**t
They say most players aren’t the sharpest pencils in the box?

Same old , same old . When will players learn to keep a lid on it ? . No player is bigger than the club and no club is smaller than the player . Just do your bloody job and stop telling us all what we already know ,, it takes effort and graft and determination . Something that is lost on you lot . And that includes the manager .
