Paul Ince just can’t help himself it seems.
Sadly the former Hammer appears to be trying to make a name for himself in the mainstream and social media these days – currently at our club’s expense.
Late last week he was taking a pop at the board and following last night’s game it was the turn of Andy Carroll after he gave a rare interview on Sky.
Perhaps Andy – in his excitement at the win and his contribution to it – over egged things a bit by claiming the Irons were a “great team.”
It was understandable he should be excited but Ince was the first – and only – individual to take him to task for his enthusiasm on a night when the Irons thoroughly deserved a decent win.
Perhaps he was just miserable to see his son’s team beaten but in all honesty we have to ask whether there was any real need to tweet such a seemingly bitter comment so soon after the game .
Nothing much changes in the world of football – least of all Ince it seems.
As is said Ince just want to speak for speak sake and I don’t necessarily think Carroll is thinking great team because of it’s superb ability but more on the togetherness of the team and how great that is. Am sure there is an aspect also of the team being a good team because it is despite it’s dodgy start.
Sad comment from a disappointed father.

I’m pretty sure our second goal wasn’t lucky, Paul. Ayew was in the right place at the right time.
Maybe he should ask his sons manager whether we were lucky.He had the dignity to be honest and say we were better in all aspects of the game and thoroughly deserved the win.
