Injury update: surgery fears growing for Valencia

|

Valencia_3191610Enner Vaencia may face surgery after all – making the need for the club to find a new striker even more urgent.

The Ecuador international has been speaking to El Universo this week, and stated the injury has not yet begun to heal.

He said: “First they said that in three weeks I should be walking, and then another week it was not ruled out (I might play).

“I have not ‘gotten any better. The specialist wanted to operate on me yesterday, but the people of West Ham told me to take my time, to talk to someone else and visit other doctors.

“I talk to people to make the best decision because the more days pass, the more time we will lose.”

Massive shame, when he has been played up front he has been very good and scored goals.. I thought he was going to improve this season as well. Last season he was stuck out on the wing and it was tough on him. I hope he recovers well and hopefully he will be back when we get to the tough Christmas period refreshed and raring to go
