Irons: ‘We think Rav and Lazio are talking’

|

Sravel-morrison-west-ham-united_3010039peculation that Ravel Morrison could join Lazio was not being ruled out by West Ham this evening.

After the story was broken on Sky Sports News, ClaretandHugh was told by a top Boleyn insider that the club believed the Italian club was talking to Morrison and his advisers.

The player has been told he can leave Upton Park and given he is out of contract at the end of the season can sign a deal with the Serie A outfit.

The club believe that whilst a deal with the Italians is “probably unlikely” they refuse to rule it  out entirely.

Our source said: “We think they are talking to him as he can speak to foreign clubs as of course he’s free to sign a pre-contract and we would get a token fee under FIFA rules should it happen.

“Personally, however, I think it’s probably unlikely. There’s many factors involved.”
