Is Jesse Lingard a Hammers option?
Well here’s a photo which poses a couple of interesting questions. Is Jesse Lingard a Hammers option given the growing injury and absence crisis and has David Moyes given the squad a break with am important FA Cup replay ahead. We have asked the question of contacts at the club but still await a reply.
The image has emerged from Dubai and of course shows the Hammer Pablo Fornals and former loanee Lingard suggesting that it may indeed be holiday time for the Hammers squad. The other question may be more worrying should the Irons be perhaps considering a move for the midfielder given the growing problems at the club.
He has been unable to find a club since leaving Nottingham Forest at the end of last season and having trained with us for about six weeks, then cleared off to Saudi in the hope of landing a deal with a club out there.
It didn’t happen and I for one am hoping it doesn’t this time around if that is what is going on!
Given the club has admitted they are not close to doing a deal – as reported here – we hope that’s the case but Lingard nonetheless would be a cheap option on a pay as you play deal.
