Irons loan defender Carl Jenkinson has been called into the England under 21 squad for the team’s UEFA U21 European Championship play-off tie against Croatia.
The team is just two play off games away from the finals in the Czech Republic, after dropping just two points from their ten games to finish top of Group One.
Croatia finished first in Group Five, with 19 points from eight matches.
Right-back Jenkinson wiill now hope to add to his five caps at this level across the two games, with the home leg being played first at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Molineux Stadium on Friday 10 October.
