Lingard sings ex Hammer’s praises

|

Ravel-Morrison-v-BarkleyJesse Lingard has admitted that Ravel Morrison was the stand out player as a youngster at Manchester United and ahead of Paul Pogba.

Morrison’s Hammers history is well known but Lingard has explained how he could have had the world at his feet.

He said: “I played with [Morrison] from eight, nine. He was that raw natural talent, the player who could do anything. If he wanted to score he’d just score.”

He told the Sunday Times: “Even at 18 nobody could tackle him and he scored goals and produced skills you shouldn’t be able to at that age.

“In the Youth Cup every one of his performances was above 8/10, you knew he’d be a top player.”

Morrison is now back in the UK for another crack at things during a loan spell with QPR.

He hasn’t even been on the bench at QPR next stop will be a league1 teams reserves, I would bet my mortgage he never makes it as a player, he has had so many wake up calls and other than one glorious game for us and one for the England u21’s done nothing with his talent. Seeing as he is alledged to be a girlfriend threatening scumbag its probably for the best anyway.

I dunno 32 I can see him coming back and biting us on the bum one day. What a waste of talent tho hey?

Definitely, he only has himself to blame, there is something missing in his make up that he just doesn’t want to train, he doesn’t seem fussed by succeeding at football.
