    That was before our new signings,
    We will finish 4 or 5 now this year and as for Leicester he is dreaming they will finish in the top 8 where I don’t know,
    But 11 is horse crap,
    But I am sure Lawerson will put Leicester higher but then we will probably be in the bottom 4 when he makes his prediction
    Of course Liverpoor will finish top that’s a written

    Merson always under-estimates West Ham – a lot of other pundits do as well! For him to predict a 7th place finish is surprising. Their squad is being subtle-y improved all the time and there’s at least a new striker to add to today’s signings. West Ham are not far off competing for the top four.

    Two weeks before the end of last season , David Gold was saying that West Ham had a slight chance of Champions League football qualification. If they had beaten Swansea at home and Stoke away, West Ham would’ve finished in 4th place……two points behind Spurs and two ahead of City.

    I thought most WHU fans would ignore anything Merson said anyway.End of story.
