Moyes’ bold formation call

|

David Moyes has opted to field a back four against Manchester United.

The Hammers boss regularly reverts to a back three against the top clubs, but is fielding a back four at Old Trafford as the Irons go in search of their first league win at the stadium since 2007.

Lukasz Fabianski is in goal, with the back four made up of Thilo Kehrer, Craig Dawson, Kurt Zouma, and Aaron Cresswell.

As always, Declan Rice partners Tomas Soucek in midfield, with the attacking trident behind Gianluca Scamacca made up of Said Benrahma, Flynn Downes and Jarrod Bowen, who has shaken off his knock to start.

Full West Ham XI: Fabianski; Kehrer, Dawson, Zouma, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Downes, Benrahma; Scamacca. Subs: Areola, Johnson, Coufal, Fornals, Antonio, Lanzini, Ogbonna, Coventry, Emerson.

Full Manchester United XI: De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Elanga, Fernandes, Rashford; Ronaldo. Subs: Bishop, Dubravka, Malacia, Fred, McTominay, Pellistri, Van de Beek, Garnacho, Sancho.

Might be a bold formation but absolutely awful to watch, we’ve lost every time we play Utd , City , Chelsea , Arsenal , Scousers & Spurs before we even kick a ball in anger. Won’t going anymore whilst Moyes is at the helm, it’s a 328 mile round trip to each home game & on average a 220 mile round trip for away games for me to travel . We wait untill it’s too late all the time before we decide to have s go, Moyes tactics are so predictable & negative whenever we play the so called big 6, TIME FOR CHANGE !!!!!!

Another negative team section, how long more is this going to continue. We lost that game because of this. How long more can we continue with this. 3 points off bottom 3, 150m spent !!!!
