David Moyes is facing a Hammers reshuffle should neither Felipe Anderson or Arthur Masuaku be available from a team which also has Michail Antonio missing for today’s game against Everton.
And we await with great interest the goalkeeping decision where we will discover whether newly signed Darren Randolph is ready for action.
It can be assumed that the manager will go with his favoured three at the back in the shape of Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena and Angelo Ogbonna against a team currently in 11th place on 28 points.
This appears to be is the ‘easiest’ of three upcoming games on paper with the Hammers travelling to Leicester on Wednesday night and receiving Liverpool on February 1.
Certainly we are a far better and more organised side than the one which Manuel Pellegrini left behind but the absence of Antonio in particular continues to hurt us front where chances were missed against Sheffield United.
I would expect Pablo Fornals to be involved along with Manuel Lanzini filling the role Anderson had taken behind Haller should the Brazilian be absent .
And assuming that Randolph is fit this is the team I would expect to line up against The Toffees: Randolph, Zaba, Diop, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Noble, Rice, Fornals, Lanzini. Haller .
Reshuffle?
Like the deckchair attendant on the titanic.
If we win today it will be a big result, but we have half a team and just sold off the youth. Miracles required, engines full steam!
Coyi!
Surely Randolf is fit he has to pass fitness test before he signs dotted line.
Antonio another one who seems constantly injured – yes, he puts a real shift in when he sometimes puts in an appearance but waste of space if he is going to be one of Wilshire’s mates ! ☹️👎
Cant see us getting anything with all these injuries..hope im wrong. Upson was saying how far behind our training facilities are compared to the other London clubs so maybe they should look at that with all these injuries again..it seems to bectge sane problems every season…
