Moyes gives massive Haller hint

|

David Moyes has given a massive hint that Sebastien Haller will be starting against Manchester United on Saturday evening at the London Stadium.

At his virtual pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, the manager revealed that Michail Antonio was injured and will not be available for selection tomorrow.

He defended his decision to start him on Monday evening by saying ‘Micky we believed was 100 per cent fit and was ready to go. A fully fit Antonio is someone that gives us a dimension’

The manager has revealed that the winger cum striker is suffering from a fresh injury in a different area of his hamstring as he attempts to diffuse suggestions that the medics rushed Antonio back too early.

Asked about Haller who was dropped from the starting line up on Monday night the Gaffer said: “Seb is in form, he is getting confidence so we will be looking to him now.”

It now seems certain that Moyes will start Haller and may revert to the same lineup which beat Sheffield United.

Predicted Lineup: Fabianksi, Cresswell, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Coufal, Rice, Soucek, Masuaku, Fornals, Bowen, Haller

Benrahma has to start for me also. Him ,Haller and Bowen in a attacking front three. Drop Masuaku play Fornals in a more central position with Soucek and captain Ricey sitting inbetween them and the CB’s

I agree that Benrahma has to start, although I’d still like to start Masuaku.
