Moyes makes Chicharito position clear

David Moyes has made it clear Chicharito will get a second chance to impress him when the serious business starts under his management reign.

But it may take a little while to prove it as the Hammers medics get down to looking at the hamstring injury the striker sustained during the 3-3 friendly draw against Belgium.

The pair didn’t appear to hit it off at Manchester United but the manager has now explained the problem blaming an embarrassment of Old Trafford riches as the problem.

And according to The Guardian he said: “He’s a top goalscorer, a brilliant finisher.

“It was difficult for him at United because I had Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Shinji Kagawa, so there was lots of competition. But he’ll be treated the same here – if he’s playing well and scoring, no problems. If he’s not, it will be the same as the rest.

“They need to be there to say: ‘Yeah, we know what we’re doing.’ Ultimately you organise them, do the work during the week, but then there is a responsibility. That’s why the players are paid very good wages: they can’t be looking round and saying: ‘We want the manager to tell us what to do.’ They have to take a bit of responsibility themselves.”

We know players have to take responsibility and they haven’t ! But youre the one who will tell them that if they don’t then their gone ? Due to the finances and poor derencive qualities in this side I hope that isn’t a first excuse in early ! Unless money is made available then he’s going to struggle IMO ! But to be fair to him he can’t be blamed for what he’s got to work with!! 😉

In other words, play for the badge and club. You get paid enough.
