Alan Stubbs is reported to have been approached by West Ham boss David Moyes, who is keen on adding the former Celtic and Everton defender to his backroom staff.
The former Hibs head coach, who led the Easter Road side to a Scottish Cup victory in 2016, has had spells as manager at Rotherham and St Mirren since leaving the Capital but has struggled to make the same impact.
His stint at Rotherham saw him last only three months before being sacked. He also only won one match with the Championship club during that time. This led Stubbs to St Mirren at the start of the 2018/19 season, but once again he left with just under three months to his name in charge of the club, and only one month into the league campaign.
The 48-year old could now be reunited with the man he played under for several seasons at Goodison Park.
Stubbs is expected to give Moyes an answer in the coming days.
Oh so we are looking to bring in all who can’t hack it elsewhere, brilliant!! Just keeps getting better
