Moyes options well and truly open

|

West Ham remain disinterested in discussing the upcoming transfer market where two full backs remain the top priority.

The manager intends to remain entirely open minded on his options until everything is decided although Nottingham Forest’s Matthew Cash is believed to still be one possible prospect.

That has come from the Nottingham end, via Forest  local newspaper and on line sources, but until we know which division we are playing in 20.21 in everything remain up in the air.

The Hammers were linked with Cash throughout last summer and were believed to have been quoted a fee in excess of £20 million.

That would be reduced to something like £13 million but the big snag right now is that the City Ground outfit are reasonably well placed in the play-off zone and promotion would put an end to the Cash discussion.

He is a useful operator and can play on the right side of midfield but the circumstances dictate that there can be no big move at this stage.

Indeed most rumour mongering of transfer market activity involving  West Ham right now should be ignored until the picture is much clearer.

Agree that 2 good full backs and a strike partner for Haller would leave the club in a position to challenge for the top 10 .
