West Ham have not ruled out a move for both Chelsea’s Armando Broja and Blackburn’s Ben Brereton-Diaz.
The pair are high on David Moyes wish list with the Chelsea man priced at around £30 million and Brereton believed to be available for around half of that.
The major problem in the case of Broja is that he has been Chelsea-mad since childhood and desperate to remain at Stamford Bridge.
And we are told by a source close to the player that he sees the club’s tour of America as his last big chance to impress Thomas Suchel.
West Ham’s only rivals are believed to be Napoli although our source claims that should he move on we are favourites with discussions between the two clubs standing around the £30 million.
Meanwhile the Irons are continuing to pursue the Blackburn player with Rovers understood to be ready to accept a fee in the region of £12 million to £15 million.
They want to get the deal signed as soon as possible and it is now a case of manager David Moyes making his mind up on the double swoop.
Regarding double swoop – heard any news on the reported interest in Dennis and Sarr from Watford Hughie?
The real interest if they decide to go that way is in Sarr
We need two strikers anyway in my opinion. Move Antonio out to the left wing where he has said previously he prefers to play and wouldn’t mind young Kluivert to come in and challenge him there. Then would go for Scammaca and Ben Diaz as the 2 natural strikers
Makes perfect sense to sign BBD now.
It takes a bit of pressure off of things while we wait on Chelsea. I think we’ll get Broja on loan with no option to buy.
Diaz no thanks or is that because some are going to earn from agents if he came here? Not good enough look at what the player can bring not the money he can earn agents.
You should change the headline to Moyes ” dithers ” over double signing !!!!
I think we need to forget Broja, from talking with Soton fans I know, he started well, but faded, a bit like Lingard with us where he scored a few goals and then faded.
Moyes seems, if you believe the various sites, to be fixated on both but in reality not sure either are right for us!
