New injury as Moyes gives update

|

David Moyes has revealed that all the Hammers carrying various injuries are back and training on grass.

But Felipe Anderson has been added to those who are still recovering –  Seb Haller, Mark Noble and  Arthur Masuaku.

Moyes revealed that the Brazilian – who was absent from the team which beat Chelsea –  overstretched in the warm up ahead of the 3-2 win.

Haller is recovering well from a hip injury and looks very likely to make an appearance on the bench at St James Park although doubts remain over Noble who has a hamstring problem.

Masuaku’s injjury seems slightly more mysterious with little explanation beyond him having an ankle injury although with the team starting to take on a definite shape any involvement from him looks unlikely.

Moyes meanwhile added: “I’m hoping to have some of them back, but we’ll know better tomorrow. Obviously, we could do with getting them back.

And he was pleased to have had the opportunity of getting to know Wilshere and Yarmolenko’s games added: “I haven’t really had the chance to work with Andriy and Jack but to work with them both is encouraging and hopefully they can continue to add to the squad.”
