No fear as Bilic faces toughest games of season

|
Bilic1Slaven Bilic is approaching a run ofseriously”tough games” with positivity, balance and perspective.
The Irons face Spurs away and Manchester United twice at Old Trafford before entertaining Arsenal and traveling to Liverpool.
But the manager declared:“On paper it looks like a tough four games, plus another one in the cup, but we have to get ourselves ready for them.“There are no easy games in the Premier League though, every team is good enough to harm you if you are not on your top level.

We are going to make sure we are at the top of our game and then I’m sure we can get something out of these games.”

“It is a very tough schedule, but we have seen what we can do against top teams last year and even this year when we played one of the top teams in the cup – Chelsea – and we beat them.

Hopefully we get a good start and are forced to play at a high level for a number of games, the other possibility is we get slaughtered, Utd despite a good result yesterday look an average team but the others are playing very well.

One can only hope we raise our play based on the competition, otherwise it’s going to be gloom and doom on these boards for the next few weeks! I attended the match Saturday and I thought a few other posters made a good point in that being there felt like a ‘chore’ – very odd atmosphere indeed.
