No Paqueta …no West Ham

Hammers season may have a boost with the return of Paqueta

No Paqueta no West Ham

It really is a case of no Paqueta …no West Ham!

The Brazilian maestro is the difference between this club squad being pretty good or very bad indeed.

And it really is no coincidence for me that the performances of Mo Kudus and Jarrod Bowen have dipped to near zero since his injury absence.

Some will argue that is not true given Bowen’s form ahead of his arrival but the answer to that is because he was playing in his natural position on the right wing.

And for Moyes to be playing him centrally as a matter of course is yet another huge error in the Scot’s confused footballing brain.

Not only have we lost our Brazilian inspiration, but also the man who made the team tick before he came down his natural and highly effective right side.

Kudus meanwhile is no longer able to make runs knowing that Paqueta will find him and as a result looks  half the player he was – this is what the squad reduction during the winter window has done to us.

We won’t be going down but we have lost the killer edge these three players gave us as a result of Moyes’ appalling and misinformed tinkering. Oh and by the way both JWP and Phillips look ordinary at best right now! His signings.

The idea too that Ben Johnson, for all his decent performances of late, can cover for Paqueta brings some near unthinkably foul thoughts to mind.

Just what is this man Moyes doing apart from destroying us as he did Sunderland!

Make no mistake if he remains in charge Lucas and Mo will be looking for moves in the summer assuming the Brazilian is in a position to do so.

I will never make any excuses for my wanting Moyes gone – to myself, the fans,  or the board. The man is a dead loss and please don’t remind me of how many rubbish teams we beat on the way to winning the Conference.

That’s a history lesson I’m sick of hearing bearing in mind we managed to win just three of our final nine games in the Premier League last season and haven’t had a win in seven this time around!

He has to go!
