One change on cards for the Hammers

|

Tomas Soucek looks nailed on surely to return to the Hammers starting X1 on Sunday as a possibly preoccupied Wolverhampton Wanderers arrive at the London Stadium.

Nuno Espirito Santos’ outfit faces a tricky two-legged Europa Cup last 16 clash against Olympiacos with the first game being played on Thursday and the second on the same day next week (19th).

Currently holding onto sixth place, the midlands outfit’s boss needs to decide priorities as he again looks to play in Europe next season.

He will also be hoping that he can get some time out of Adama Traore who has been suffering a shoulder dislocation injury which has restricted his match time.

The Hammers – with Soucek available – are now as strong as they have been all season in terms of fitness and performance.

It seems likely from where we are sitting that the Czech will return to the starting line up probably at the expense of Mark Noble with the rest of the team unchanged.

Here’s hoping. .as previously stated I am not a Noble slatter but time has run its course now that he is not an automatic choice in the starting eleven If Soucek is fit give him the starting berth COYI.
