Pelle wants Lanzini to reach next level

|

Manuel Pellegrini is calling on Manuel Lanzini to go to a different level after watching him make an impressive return this season.

The midfield playmaker is currently on his way back from America after international duty and is becoming more and more of an influence again.

But Pellegrini believes we have yet to see the best of him and reckons he can improve even on where he is at this moment.

It’s good that Pellegrini is a boss who is never satisfied and he made similar remarks about Seb Haller in the week when explaining he expected him to get better and better.

Having signed a new deal for four years, Manu now has the time to become a Hammers legend having shown total commitment with the club and starting to play with a real smile on his face.

He has great players around him and under the manager’s care expect him to blossom into one of the best we have had in many years.

Speaking at his presser Pellegrini said: “It’s very good to have Manu Lanzini back and I hope he continues to create so many chances over the rest of the season.

He came back from his injury with trust and always wants the ball and to do different things. He will keep improving and I think he can take one step more.”

“But football has many different moments and we can have injuries and other things. Now we are in a good general moment and we must try to repeat it in the next games.
“Now we need to try to repeat that high performance as what we did against Norwich will not matter in the Aston Villa game.”

Couldn’t agree more, Lanzini has returned a far more complete player than before his injury. Having a lot more quality around him must have helped but all the credit to him on his recovery and increase in performance well done Lanzini COYI!!!
