Picking the Irons Bony…s from the rumour factory

|

BonyNewspaper speculation today that West Ham could be in for £19 million rated Wilfried Bony is about as outrageous as claims that 36 year old Emile Heskey is a Hammers target!

ClaretandHugh revealed several weeks ago for the first time that the Swansea striker was in the bag for us  8 million.

The deal was done – in the bag and confirmed by top sources so the idea that we will pay now more than double for the striker is in the realms of fantasy.

That we should believe the Irons will now break their transfer record by a further £3 million on the striker when AC Milan’s M’Baye Niang is talking to the club and a loan is looking likely is just crazy.

Meanwhile the Heskey story is so far off the wall as to be almost out of sight – that one can be forgotten.

The other one doing the rounds is that we are  back on the trail of Racing Genk’s Belgium international striker Jelle Vossen.

The 25-year-old scored 19 goals in all competitions for the club last season, with the Daily Mail claiming Sam Allardyce was interested in January.

However, with Mauro Zarote having joined on what we are told is a £40,000 a week deal, that one with a likely £8 million fee involved looks no better than fifty fifty.
