Poll: Were West Ham right to sell Kouyate?

Cheikhou Kouyate has joined Crystal Palace on a permanent four-year contract for a transfer fee worth £9.5m plus £1.5m of potential add-ons.  The Senegal international has left the Hammers having made 147 appearances and scored 15 goals across four seasons. The midfielder joined from Belgian club Anderlecht for £7m in summer 2014.

  1. It just has to be yes. We cannot undo what has been done. We could have used him in getting on of the Porto players because I don’t like it when we sell to our rivals(JT and now Kouyate).
    Anyway I voted with the majority since I believe he would really have little game time and he really should be on the bench. I also believe that the coach also has a good plan for the team and all will work out really well for us.

  2. If the reported fee is correct, then once again WHU have sold a player cheaply. However, they were right to sell Kouyate as he needed a fresh challenge elsewhere. He will do well at Palace. Good luck to the fella

  3. I voted yes but on the proviso we replace one out,one in now,imo we still need a decent experienced defensive midfielder and Drinkwater is not decent in my eyes.COYI
