“Poor” Reid collects eighth yellow card of season

|

ReidyWinston Reid received his eighth yellow card of the season in just 18 Premier League appearances this season against Arsenal yesterday.

Yet the New Zealander is again at the centre of transfer talk this morning linking him with a move to Arsenal – a story immediately denied by Hammers sources to ClaretandHugh.

According to reports in The Mirror the Gunners have watched the player in every game over the last two months and Arsene Wenger believes the Hammers will sell in January.

That’s despite the Hammers making it clear they have no intention of selling  as it could undermine their progress this  season,.

Our source said: “The story isn’t true . We have had no contact whatsoever from Arsenal. Nothing can be ruled out but there has never been any contact and we would have expected it by now.

“He collected his eighth yellow card of the season yesterday and had a very poor game which obviously wouldn’t have helped his chances of a move if Arsenal are remotely interested!”

I am surprised every defender in the premier league has not received 8 or more yellow cards this year as the amount of diving that is taking place at the moment, also the referees decisions are some time hard to work out, with the amount of officials at the grounds and technology avaliable why does every game have so many bad decisions? Winston will leave in the summer so he may as we’ll go now,BS must have someone in mind to replace him ( let’s get it over now ),we need to keep Tomkins so a not for sale sign needs to be put up now.
